New Orleans Saints offensive lineman Dillon Radunz will miss the 2026 season after suffering a torn ACL during Saturday’s training camp practice, a significant setback for a team that had counted on his versatility along the offensive line. Saints coach Kellen Moore confirmed the injury Sunday, ending Radunz’s second season in New Orleans before the regular season began.
Radunz, 28, entered camp as an experienced option who could provide depth at multiple positions. He appeared in 15 games for New Orleans in 2025 and started 10, primarily at left guard. The Saints re-signed him to a two-year contract in March after his first season with the team, retaining a veteran who had also played extensively at guard and tackle during his NFL career.
The injury removes an important reserve from a relatively young offensive line. New Orleans had added veteran guard David Edwards during free agency, potentially leaving Radunz in a backup role, but his ability to move between positions gave the Saints additional flexibility. Before joining New Orleans, Radunz spent his first four NFL seasons with the Tennessee Titans after they selected him in the second round of the 2021 draft out of North Dakota State.
Radunz has played in 69 NFL games, including 41 starts, during his career. He started 10 of his 15 appearances for the Saints last season and was expected to provide experienced depth in 2026. His season-ending injury now forces New Orleans to adjust its offensive line plans well before the start of the regular season.
