Chris was born in September of 1873 on the plains of Oklahoma. His father, a trapper, died when Chris was three of TB. By five Chris had taken up the family business and by the age of ten had become the greatest fur trader in the land. Picking up his family, he moved them to St. Louis in 1901.

Soon Chris left the fur trade and used his savings to go to the fabled Broadcast Center. After twenty years of training Chris got his first broadcast job at a country and western radio station. Wanting to listen to and introduce heavier music that wouldn’t be available for another 50 years, he cut his teeth and applied his trade. In 2017 Chris made the move to Paducah to start work at WZZL where he continues to be way too obsessed with Ghost. Hear Chris daily on 106.7 WZZL from 2-7.
